Daniel is a photographer and visual artist. He was born in Venezuela and currently lives as a digital nomad. By combining different photographs he brings to life a dream world. In his work he becomes the character of a story, his leitmotif is the self-portrait. He is inspired by nature, his fears, desires and the contrasts that we perceive as light and darkness.
Venezuela was his childhood and adolescence home, but he discovered his passion for art and photography when he went to study marketing engineering in Asunción, Paraguay. One night, after unsuccessfully trying to draw how he felt, he took his camera and through his lens and digital manipulation understood that art can be a way to self expression, and that became a vital element in his life.
Through his work the observer is invited to travel inside, to the most remote place of the unconscious, where fears reside and the way we perceive reality is not questioned. He wants to show others an unseen part of themselves that way the artist and the viewer can attain communion on a deeper level.
In post production, he combines different photos to create the scene but he also wants to achieve a realistic image and that’s why he often uses props, travels to remote places and uses a lot of creativity and improvisation when trying to achieve each shot.
Daniel’s work has been displayed in Milan, Paris, Venezuela, New York and Miami. And he has worked with Adobe, MSI, Shutterstock, Skillshare, Photoshop, Holmen Group (Sweden), among others.
